Manchester United isn’t willing to eliminate Harry Maguire from the club captaincy even after him being found guilty of many offenses in Greece. The 27-year-old defender has been found guilty of serious assaults, resisting arrest, and multiple attempts of bribery, following a quarrel on a night out in Mykonos. He has been handed a 21-month suspended prison sentence, following the allegations. Although he had been a part of Gareth Southgate’s England team for the future UEFA Nations League matches, he had been quickly dropped out as the news of his verdict spread to the UK. The player is now in showdown talks with the United chiefs and his captaincy doesn’t appear to be at any risk.
