Torino and Sampdoria match ended in a draw 2-2 in the Serie A clash, while the teams battled Sampdoria's Claudio Ranieri was in Turin while Torino counterpart Marco Giampaolo was quarantined due to the coronavirus. The match did not change matters for Torino who remained in the relegation zone with Genoa while Parma climbed to the safety zone after the Genoa win.
Torino celebrated an early win only to be disappointed as Andrea Belotti's goal was ruled out for offside but later he struck again for Torino in the 25th minute and Soualiho Meite netted one later as well. Sampdoria though made a comeback in the second half after Antonio Candreva leveled in the 54th and Fabio Quagliarella scored in the 63rd minute to level the playing field.
