Torino climbed out of the relegation zone with 0-0 draw against Lazio

Torino has almost sealed their places in the Serie A safe zone after fighting the relegation battle for so long. They are now mathematically safe from the threat of Serie A relegation with the goalless draw against Lazio 0-0. Lazio striker Ciro Immobile had almost broken the deadlock by scoring with a penalty but his shot at the 84th minute struck the goalpost instead with his spot-kick.

Torino hit the woodwork as well later with Antonio Sanabria 19 minutes from time. Lazio has confirmed their spot on the table at 6th place and Torino is 17th on the table, and Benevento would be returning to the second tier along with Crotone and Parma.
