Tottenham Hotspur solidify their hopes of landing a top four spot

Tottenham Hotspur stayed on target against a 10-man Arsenal with a 3-0 win on Thursday, as they keep the hopes of the Champions League alive. Mikel Arteta could not control his outburst after the loss and took it out on referee Paul Tierney as Tottenham made their way back in the race for a Champions League spot for next season. Harry Kane turned out to be the main tormentor for Arsenal opening with a controversial penalty against Arsenal and later Rob Holding was sent off the field within seven minutes leaving the side unable to defend against Tottenham.

Right before the interval, Kane netted once more and Son Heung-min grabbed the third goal in the latter half to put more pressure on Gunners. Arsenal now faces a nerve wreaking top-four battle as they hope to seal a return to the European tournament for the first time since the 2016-17 season.
