Tottenham reclaimed the Premier League topmost spot

Arsenal was contained by Tottenham on Sunday while they moved ahead on the table to reclaim their top spot once more in the current season by thrashing Arsenal by 2-0. The Gunners’ agony was brought on by Harry Kane who struck his 250th career goal after Son Heung-min had already opened the score for Tottenham netting his 10th goal of the season for Tottenham. Hotspurs now proudly sit at the top of the table with 24 points off their 11 matches with Liverpool just below them with similar points but Jose Mourinho’s Spurs are ahead in Goal difference.

Spurs also allowed its 2,000 fans to bear witness to Arsenal’s humiliating run, they are reduced to 15th place on the table with another loss as they weren’t able to control the dynamic duo of Kane and Son who share 18 goals between themselves this season.
