After locking in Nuno Espirito Santo for the manager’s role Tottenham Hotspur has shifted its attention to developing the team for the next season. They have been actively linked with many players this summer and one of them is Sampdoria midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard. Denmark’s Euro 2020 star has caught the eye of Tottenham’s managing director of football Fabio Paratici. He is interested in bringing the Danish playmaker over to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer amidst other top European clubs lining up to get the Danish player’s signature.
In the list of other clubs, many Premier League clubs like West Ham, Leicester City, Southampton, Crystal Palace and Leeds United have been tracking the 21-year-old. In his 35 appearances with the Serie A club, he netted 2 goals and 4 assists last season and joined Sampdoria in the 2020 Summer transfer window for a £5m deal from Danish side Nordsjaelland.
