Nuno Espirito Santo is downplaying the fact that Tottenham is at the top of the Premier League table he even went on to say that it doesn't mean anything so early in the season. Spurs recently extended their winning streak to three adding the recent 1-0 win over Watford to the list after they outsmarted defending champions, Man City and Wolves earlier.
Nuno even wrote his name down in the club’s history books to become the first player with three back-to-back league wins at the start after Arthur Rowe in 1949. With an optimistic start, Spurs would make a play for the top four this season after finishing seventh last season. Their defense has clearly improved since last season as they opened the season with three clean sheets which is a major improvement over last season where they conceded 65 goals.
