Tottenham Hotspur was eyeing Fulham’s boss Scott Parker in the role of permanent manager for the Hotspurs but as per reports, the managerial candidate would not be sacked by Fulham. Tottenham sacked Jose Mourinho last month itself and put on Ryan Mason in charge of the club for a short while till the season ends. Now they are in the hunt for a new permanent manager.
Fulham is unwilling to sack Parker and if Spurs wants to hire him now they would have to pay a compensation fee to Fulham. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would not be willing to pay more for a new manager while some question whether Parker is the right choice or not. The 40-year-old failed to keep Fulham out of the relegation zone and Cottagers would not be participating in the Championship instead.
