Juventus is keeping a watch on wanted-by Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, who might be a late-season surprise. If Bianconeri's pursuit of Sassuolo's Manuel Locatelli fails, the ex-Lyon star is an alternate target. Despite failing to persuade Sassuolo to sanction the transfer, Juventus remains interested in Locatelli. The talks are well begun, but neither side is willing to change their stance.
Moreover, Tolisso is in the final year of his contract at the Allianz Arena and could be available at a bargain. The perennial Bundesliga champions are aware that they will not be able to recuperate the €41.5 million paid to Lyon. Nonetheless, they would prefer to sell the Frenchman this summer rather than allow him to depart on a free transfer this time next year. To get Tolisso off the hook, the Bavarians want roughly €20 million.
