UEFA Champions League: Dortmund beat Copenhagen 3-0

Borussia Dortmund commenced their UEFA Champions League campaign with a victory over Copenhagen by a crushing 3-0. All credit goes to goals from Marco Reus, Raphael Guerreiro and Jude Bellingham's collective efforts in Group D action. The danish opponent started amazingly and almost stunned Dortmund as Zeca's long-range attempt shot wide seconds into the encounter. Dortmund swiftly regained control but lacked precision in front of goal. Reus then shrugged off one defender before shooting the ball past Copenhagen goalkeeper Mathew Ryan in the 35th minute. Dortmund dominated the game and doubled the score after just seven minutes when Giovanni Reyna's pass allowed Guerreiro to score. The Black and Yellows wrapped the game as Bellingham finished to make it 3-0.

"We didn't start either half well, but we scored twice in quick succession. It is good to come off with a winning start," commented Dortmund head coach Terzic.
