United registered a win despite sloppy efforts by Fred

Roy Keane slammed United’s midfielder Fred over his sloppy efforts during the Red Devil’s win over Southampton. The Brazilian’s performance was far from satisfactory in the first half of the 3-2 rout of United. Red Devils made a comeback after being two down in the second half where two impressive finish by Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani helped United win.

The first half saw a dominant show by Southampton where a corner kick by defender Jan Bednarek put them ahead and later James Ward-Prowse’s trademark free-kick was looming over United in their attempt to win the match. Fred on the other hand committed four fouls on the field which provided Southampton the perfect opportunity to score. Ultimately Man Utd made a comeback in the 90 minutes to grab the three points which placed them seventh on the table.
