United thumped Brentford 3-0 in Premier League

Manchester United made their way back to winning ways in Premier League with Defender Raphael Varane getting his first league goal at Old Trafford. Later Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo netted on Monday as they ended their last home fixture of the current campaign with a cheerful win. United’s hopes of playing in Champions League next season are fading quickly.

The win still sees United in the sixth place with 58 points next to their name from 36 games and have just two matches left in the season and five points gap between them and fourth-placed Arsenal. Brentford on the other side fears being dragged into the relegation battle and needs one more win to make their return to Premier League next season a surety.
