United were left frustrated with the 1-1 draw against Southampton

At St Mary’s stadium, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side was left frustrated after Fred’s own goal cost them a win against Southampton. Last week United had annihilated Leeds by 5-1 but could not build on the winning. They now match Arsenal’s English top-flight record of 27 back-to-back away games without defeat. Southampton took a lead within 30 minutes, Moussa Djenepo and Adam Armstrong worked together to get the ball to Che Adams his shot then found Fred and his stretched boot who accidentally pushed the goal past David De Gea.

Greenwood then tried to rectify his teammate's mistake with a leveler at 55th minute, he pushed the ball past Alex McCarthy from 12 yards away. United in the end could just salvage a draw and return home.
