Uprising FC are pleased to announce the signing of the 36-year-old striker, Chadwick Samuels from our fellow Anguilla Football League Club, Eagle Claw FC.
Born in Clarendon, Jamaica and now living in The Valley, Anguilla; Chadwick who is a keen cricketer, as well as previously having played football for Eagle Claw, has also played for Water Lane FC in Jamaica, and in Anguilla for Lymers and Attackers.
Chadwick describes himself as a very aggressive player who can play as a striker or right wing, and someone who is also willing to help in defence. He adds that he is a patient, humble, and very respectful person who likes to listen and observe others which helps to enhance a good team chemistry.
We asked Chadwick what his main reason was for wanting to join the Uprising family and what he would like to achieve during his time with us.
“The main reason I joined is because Uprising has a good management structure and the team is one of the most disciplined in the league! I also see the team challenging for the championship and having a good future as well as attracting more good players”.
He continued: “I have joined the club to achieve nothing but greatness, score a lot of goals and to win many trophies!”
We echo those thoughts from Chadwick, and we can’t wait to see him in an Uprising FC shirt!
