Valencia denies negotiations with Barcelona over Carlos Soler

The player's contract expires in 2023 and if he doesn't renew, Valencia would have to sell him before then. However, the club released an official statement saying that there are no negotiations with Barcelona or any other club in progress.

“In response to a report published Monday in the Spanish newspaper Diario AS, Valencia CF denies the existence of any agreement -or any ongoing negotiations- with FC Barcelona for the transfer of Carlos Soler.

“The club is currently in an open negotiation process with the player and his agents to extend his contract with Valencia CF.”
