Verona makes a comeback to finish 3-1 over Napoli

Napoli lost their advantage early on against Verona and could not force a comeback. They move level on points with Lazio at 6th place who defeated Sassuolo and their winning streak now stretches to four matches. Hellas Verona grabbed a win from Napoli who took an early lead by forced a comeback later to deny them a chance to move ahead of Juventus as they now remain two points adrift and out of the Champions League zone with 34 points to showcase so far in the season.

Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso later shared the loss was their own fault and is desperate to return to Champions League this season. Mexican forward Lozano started off Napoli match perfectly but Verona defender Federico Dimarco rectified his mistake after conceding the first goal to fire an equalizer in the 34th minute which Antonin Barak later made it worth by giving Verona a lead and Mattia Zaccagni completed the rout with 11 minutes left.
