Villarreal came from behind to defeat relegation-threatened Getafe 2-1

After Villarreal rallied from behind to upset relegation-threatened Getafe 2-1 and snap a four-game losing streak in the Spanish league, Samuel Chukwueze scored and provided an assist. After Enes Unal gave the visitors the lead in the opening minutes, the Nigerian international scored in the 44th minute and then assisted Jose Luis Morales for the game-winning goal shortly after the break. 

The victory brought Villarreal closer to the European spots and into seventh position in La Liga. The last time Villarreal triumphed was against Girona in January. Since then, they've been defeated 9-3 by Rayo Vallecano, last-place Elche, Barcelona, and Mallorca. Getafe remained in second-to-last place, two points from safety, despite having the opportunity to escape the relegation zone with a win. After 23 rounds, Barcelona leads Real Madrid by seven points at the top of the rankings.
