Villarreal defeated Bayern Munich with a 1-0 win

In the Champions League quarter-final first leg, Villarreal went past Bayern Munich to secure a win 1-0. The goal was hit by Arnaut Danjuma who diverted the shot by Dani Parejo from a close range. This gave the home side a brighter look with more confidence to look forward to the game. 

In the last season, we saw Arnaut Danjuma was teamed up with A.F.C. Bournemouth in the championship. But as of today, he is seen scoring for Villarreal against Bayern Munich. However, Bayern couldn’t respond to the goal whereas the opponent team, Villarreal was unfortunate that they couldn’t take their lead ahead on either side of the interval. With Villarreal unable to secure another second goal it would still be a post-game source of frustration for Emery. They still have to be in the last four in the second leg in Bavaria next week.
