West Ham United eyeing Mouctar Diakhaby

West Ham United boss David Moyes is again on the lookout for defensive reinforcements. West Ham United is interested in Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby as they look for a new center-half to improve their backline this summer. Diakhaby is a commanding presence at the back and a menace in the opposition box, and he possesses the physical attributes required to flourish in English football. This appears to have put him on the radar of West Ham United, who are looking for new central defenders this summer.

Diakhaby rose through the ranks at Olympique Lyon, a French Ligue 1 club. After quickly advancing, the 24-year-old went on to make 55 first-team appearances for Les Gones before joining Valencia in the summer of 2018. Since joining Los Che, the Frenchman has been a mainstay in the squad, appearing 95 times in all competitions and scoring four goals.
