Manchester City didn’t lose at West Ham even though it looked like they would. A lesser team might well have lost. They trailed 2-0 at halftime, yet City wasn’t going to let down the spirits. Well, they should have won the match. Mahrez missed a penalty with just 7 minutes to go that would be an opportunity to give Manchester the crown. He could have put 2 rivals away with the kick; Liverpool and West Ham.
Manchester City still has a lot of effort to put in as they head into the final week with four points clear and not six. On the other hand, Liverpool has two games remaining. The first half was led by West Ham and the second half was about how Manchester City reacted to that.
