West Ham United might have lost Kurt Zouma for the rest of the season as they deal with a major injury blow before the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final match against Lyon. Zouma suffered an ankle injury during the Brentford match on Sunday and due to this has been sidelined for the upcoming clash as well. But the main concern West Ham have is losing the defender for the rest of the summer clashes.
The French centre-back is one of the key players for the side and has been phenomenal at the London Stadium ever since he completed the move from Chelsea for £30million last summer. David Moyes is set to have limited options in the defensive department as Angelo Ogbonna is out with a serious knee injury as well, for the Lyon match West Ham would be without left-back Aaron Cresswell as well who got hit with a red card during the first leg.
