What is the situation ahead of England vs France?

England will line up against France in what is deemed to be one of the most coveted World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday, and there have been a bunch of queries regarding the Ballon d’Or titleholder Karim Benzema. The 34-year-old experienced a tormenting thigh injury during training at the beginning of the tournament, which ruled him out of the tournament. Although, England and Gareth Southgate may be in shock right now. It is being said that Benzema is still fitting to be present for France in Qatar if he can fully recover from his thigh injury.

The game will take place on Saturday, December 10th, inside the Al Bayt Stadium, and with Benzema ahead of the recommended three-week recovery period, he might actually face England under surprising circumstances. However, even without Benzema, France still poses a potential threat.
