Bruno Guimaraes has so far played for Newcastle United just thrice and that too is a late substitute. Newcastle United still has no plans to hand Guimaraes his first official start in the Premier League match when they face Brentford. Guimaraes joined Newcastle from Ligue 1 side Lyon in the January transfer window for £35million and has since made late cameos for Everton, Aston Villa, and West Ham.
Head coach Eddie Howe is having a hard time handing the Brazilian a place in starting XI with Joelinton, Joe Willock, and Jonjo Shelvey in excellent form. The 24-year-old would have to be patient while he would be benched at Brentford Community Stadium but could soon be in action with a busy week for Newcastle with four fixtures in the next 10 days.
