When Spurs had signed him up for Fulham the previous year, Sessegnon had been one of the highly-preferred prospects in English football. However, he had to maintain his patience at Tottenham. With nothing significant by his side, the left-sided player had only managed four Premier League starts in his Spurs career till now. Therefore, the London club is considering loaning him out so that his development doesn’t get affected. Post regaining promotion to the Premier League, there have been reports of a potential return to Fulham. Still, Cottagers vice-chairman and director of football Tony Khan said that they are least interested to take the 20-year old back just to develop him for someone else. He also said that the player had already played for them in the Premier League and didn’t do any justice to the game.
