After his battle with Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons was quite silent

The South Philly audience erupted in cheers within the first minutes of the game as the two engaged in fierce combat. Embiid had the chance to play against James Harden for the first time since the Sixers traded for Ben Simmons and Harden. The two former colleagues were sidelined by injury in the first two games between the Sixers and the Nets following the deal.

Ben Simmons used one word to sum up his battle with the big man after Wednesday's game. Fun, Simmons remarked. "I just had to see him a few times in practise, so." During his stay in Philadelphia, Simmons was never a verbose person. It's hardly surprising that the three-time All-Star didn't have much to say about the conflict given that he hasn't really discussed Embiid since the star pair parted ways last season.
