Another day and another Laker’s player injured

Los Angeles Lakers face a hard time keeping their players healthy this season as well, as one more player bites the injury bug even before the season has kicked off. Earlier Lakers accepted that Trevor Ariza would be out for two months now another injury blow hits them hard as they still remain without a win in preseason showcasing a 0-4 record as losses pile up. Now Talen Horton-Tucker and Malik Monk have been sidelined as well due to a right thumb injury and a groin injury respectively.

Frank Vogel had high hopes from Monk this season after he proved to be firepower and was regarded as a ‘microwave’, Lakers had big plans for the new recruit who had shown versatility on the floor. For now, former champions do have Russell Westbrook, Wayne Ellington, Kent Bazemore, Kendrick Nunn, and Rajon Rondo but Monk’s absence could hurt the team.
