According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Oklahoma City Thunder are transferring Moe Harkless and a second-round draught selection to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Vit Krejci. Veteran small forward Harkless has never appeared in a game with the Hawks. The 29-year-old was acquired by the Sacramento Kings in the Kevin Huerter deal in July.
Krejci, on the other hand, is a fascinating possibility. The Czech Republic-born point guard is 22 years old. In 30 games for the Thunder last season, Krejci had eight starts and averaged 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds. One benefit of this move is that it may give Hawks forwards Jalen Johnson and AJ Griffin greater playing time. Although Krejci's future with the Hawks is undetermined, it undoubtedly heightens the preseason's suspense.
