Brooklyn Nets extend unbeaten preseason run against Washington

The Brooklyn Nets continued their unbeaten preseason by defeating the Washington Wizards, adding another victory after previously overcoming Charlotte and Philadelphia. Jordi Fernandez’s team displayed impressive offensive efficiency, shooting 57% from the field, converting 17 three-pointers and scoring 50 points in the paint.

Returning from a left wrist issue, Michael Porter Jr. immediately made an impact with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting in just seven minutes. Julius Randle contributed seven assists in 11 minutes, while rookie Nolan Traoré delivered 13 points off the bench.

Washington responded through Kyshawn George and Bilal Coulibaly, who combined for 37 points. Rookie AJ Dybantsa also provided flashes of athleticism after halftime.

The Wizards briefly seized control, but Brooklyn answered with a decisive 15-2 run to establish a nine-point advantage entering the fourth quarter.

Noah Clowney added 15 points, including four three-pointers, as the Nets preserved their perfect preseason record against determined opposition.
