Boston Celtics are keen to part with their starting point guard, Kemba Walker. The 31-year old has suffered from a knee injury repeatedly for the past couple of seasons now. The C’s are quite disappointed with Walker’s back-to-back degraded performance. Walker could only score 56 and 43 during his two seasons in Beantown. However, solid showings unveil that he had been a 20 point-per-game scorer and averaging at 19.3 points per game for Boston Celtics in 2020-21.
The Boston Celtics are expected to sell Walker and get a new starting point guard in their squad. The Celtics eye their rival New York Knicks as a possible destination for Walker. The Knicks have not been playing up to the expectations by losing in the first round of the playoff series this season.
