Clippers beat Blazers with 133-116

Portland Trail Blazers struggled once again with elite Western Conference teams on Tuesday and slumped to a 133-116 loss to Los Angeles Clippers. Paul George scored 22 of his 36 points in the first quarter itself to lead the Clippers to a win while the team shot 52.3% from the field. Norman Powell poured in 32 points while CJ McCollum had 24 points as well but Damian Lillard was out of form, unlike the lethal self he ended up with just 11 points from the 2/14 shooting while Clippers denied Lillard many opportunities to score as well.

Blazers are 1-7 in the season currently against the top five west teams while overall their score is 30-20 sixth on the table. The Clippers improved their record to 34-18 by dominating throughout the game and held back Portland well.
