Clippers maintain their five match winning streak over Lakers

Los Angeles Clippers faced their local rivals Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday and kept their winning streak looking strong with five back to back wins. Marcus Morris Sr. had 29 points and Reggie Jackson scored 25, along with the last-second score that pitched Clippers ahead of Lakers in the match to win by 111-110. Clippers also found support from Serge Ibaka, who added 20 points with eight rebounds.

Lakers had almost stolen the win away from Clippers but Anthony Davis missed the buzzer-beating jumper that would have handed the team a win, Davis in the end scored 30 points and secured 17 rebounds. Lakers injury trouble worsened when Carmelo Anthony left the court clutching the back of the leg with what seems to be a right hamstring injury. They were already without LeBron James for the fifth match straight and had just gotten Davis back in the lineup after he missed 17 matches.
