Steve Kerr has been away from his team due to the NBA's health and safety protocols. Now, he preparing to coach the Warriors in the Western Conference finals after skipping the last three games due to COVID-19. Kerr said that he had mild symptoms which included cough and congestion but his concern was not to let anyone else around him fall sick. He said that it really wasn’t too bad. Kerr is waiting for the opponents for his team from Game 7 of the Mavericks-Suns series.
He had departed before the Game 4 kicked off against the Grizzlies last Monday after which he was tested positive for COVID. Associate head coach Mike Brown filled in for Kerr as Golden State wrapped up the series with a victory in Game 6 on Friday. Everyone on the team is pretty thrilled to have their coach Kerr back with them!
