Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry could not surpass Ray Allen's 3-point record on Monday night as he fell short of seven three-point baskets but still led the team to a win against Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.
The 33-year-old hit five 3s, posted 26 points in the 102-100 victory over Pacers as the world waits for the record night when the sharp-shooting guard would surpass Ray’s record to be the 3-point all-time leader in NBA. It is highly likely Curry would achieve the feat at Madison Square Garden against New York Knicks. Indiana’s defense worked hard at containing Curry while on the other side Domantas Sabonis scored 30 points and 11 rebounds. Malcolm Brogdon who did a great job denying Curry a record night posted 23 points and eight assists.
