The NBA Draft is concluded, and while the Mavericks did not have a pick in the 2021 draught, they were very active in the undrafted free agent market following the ward. With all of Dallas' rookies returning next season and anticipated to earn more playing time, it's unlikely that any of the four undrafted free agents signed, will have an impact this season, let alone remain around on the roster. Nonetheless, there are some intriguing names, and here's a rundown on each of them.
However, Onu was high on the scouting list. Onu's defining characteristic is that he is one of the most prolific shot-blockers in college history. During his four years at Shawnee State, Onu averaged 4.23 blocks per game, peaking at 5.69 (!!) as a junior. Other players linked to the dealings are namely, Eugene Omoruyi, Carlik Jones and Feron Hunt.
