Dallas Mavericks 125-112 victory over the short-handed Portland Trail Blazers

Luka Doncic delivered an impressive performance with 32 points and 10 assists, leading the Dallas Mavericks to a 125-112 victory over the short-handed Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night. The game took a turn when Kyrie Irving sustained a right foot injury in the second quarter after being fouled by Portland's Duop Reath. While attempting two free throws, Irving was subsequently taken out of the game and ruled out for the remainder due to the injury.

Dante Exum contributed significantly with 23 points for the Mavericks, and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 20 points off the bench. Despite missing three starters – Malcolm Brogdon, Deandre Ayton, and Jerami Grant – the Trail Blazers put up a fight with Anfernee Simons scoring 30 points, along with eight assists and five rebounds. Shaedon Sharpe had an impactful game with 24 points, nine rebounds, and five assists for Portland.
