Denver Nuggets routed the scuffling Phoenix Suns 117-90

In a pivotal third quarter, Nikola Jokic scored 13 of his 32 points, and the Denver Nuggets defeated the struggling Phoenix Suns 117-90 on Monday night. Without guard Jamal Murray due to an injured left ankle, Michael Porter Jr. scored 24 points on 10 of 12 shots for Denver. The Nuggets, who have won four of five games, defeated Phoenix for the third time in a row.

Devin Booker (left groin) and Grayson Allen (concussion protocol) were out for the Suns. Other than Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant, who both had 23 points, they had trouble finding anyone to score. Denver outscored Phoenix 45-28 in the third quarter and had a four-point lead at the half. During that time, the club shot 18 of 28 from the field, with Jokic, Porter, and Russell Westbrook shooting 13 of 17.
