Los Angeles Lakers won 10 matches back to back until their recent loss to 76ers away from home and lose another match to Pistons 107-92 while Anthony Davis sits out due to injury. They are losing out on their lead in the Western Conference standings and are third on the table as Clippers and Jazz take the lead. They will now take on Boston Celtics on Saturday possibly without Davis.
LeBron James lost his hot streak as well during the match and Talen Horton-Tucker on the other hand is being denied time on the floor and the irony is he contributes. Kyle Kuzma replacing Davis on the lineup was outstanding with a good first half with 9 points and later added 10 in the third to finish with 22 points. James on the other hand was nowhere to be seen in the second half with just 2 points from 1-9 shooting. In the end, Lakers lacked an edge during the match.
