The NBA revealed on Thursday the starting lineup for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 19, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Brooklyn Nets' superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were also named as starters for the league's yearly exhibition of its top players as part of that announcement.
With 6.5 million votes, Durant won the second-most votes among frontcourt players in the Eastern League and the second-most votes in the whole conference. Durant is presently sidelined due to a sprained right MCL. Irving garnered the most votes (4.46 million) among guards in the Eastern League and the fifth-highest in the whole conference, despite most recently scoring 40 points in Thursday's 130-122 defeat to the Detroit Pistons. The guard with the highest weighted score (1.75) was Irving, who shared the honour with Donovan Mitchell.
