Embiid and Korkmaz’s efforts puts Sixers ahead of Pelicans

Philadelphia 76ers in the season opener found a 117-97 triumph over the New Orleans Pelicans on a Wednesday night. With the help of Joel Embiid, Furkan Korkmaz, Sixers are off to a good start, Embiid in the end scored 22 points and 12 rebounds, and in the four three-pointers in the last quarter also scored 22 points.

Pelicans looked less deadly without forward Zion Williamson and Sixers overcame the loss of Ben Simmons, who is serving a suspension after the whole offseason drama. Pelicans climbed close to reduce the deficit to six points but Brandon Ingram then pulled the game out of reach to make it 83-77. Then Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey each had 20 points for Sixers as their season is off to a good start.
