Golden State erased a 20-point deficit to beat the New Orleans Pelicans

Curry connected on five of his eight three-point attempts in the second half as the defending NBA champion Warriors came out firing, outdueling the Pelicans and winning a game that was at times sloppy and at other times scrappy. This victory increased the Warriors' chances of avoiding the play-in tournament for teams that finished seventh through tenth in each conference.

With 3:45 remaining in the second quarter, Golden State star Draymond Green and New Orleans' Brandon Ingram both earned two technical fouls for their verbal altercation following Green's foul on a Pelicans player that was escalated to a flagrant. The Warriors were down 17 at the half after Green's collision with Herbert Jones ignited further pushing. The tense first half saw the Warriors commit 14 turnovers. Poole scored 13 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter, and Klay Thompson added 17 for the Warriors.
