While basketball's top talents were on display for foreign fans, the Dubs also got a once-in-a-lifetime chance to watch players like James Wiseman and other members of the youthful core play significant minutes away from practise. Wiseman participated in both preseason games despite not having played since the beginning of 2021. Patrick Baldwin Jr. debuted in the meanwhile.
Wiseman had a strong start to the preseason, scoring 20 points and grabbing 9 rebounds in his first game in addition to some impressive dunks. Baldwin, though, has a history of using flamethrowers. In 25 total preseason minutes, he has scored 19 points, displaying his jump shooting and control in the paint. Baldwin is among the Warriors' most sought-after undiscovered talents, and he hasn't spent any time proving it. The Warriors are now 2-0 overall and are favoured to win their opening preseason matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 9.
