After coming off without a win in preseason Los Angeles Lakers were left searching for a win against Golden State Warriors. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Lakers were stunned with a loss of 121-114 in their opening match. Stephen Curry had 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, as Warriors took advantage of the slow-looking Lakers in the last quarter to push for a win.
The brilliant duo of James and Davis posted 64 points in a combined effort with 22 rebounds between them but suffered a loss still. Making his regular-season debut for Lakers, Russell Westbrook shot 4 for 13 for eight points. Warriors made a comeback after they were in the deficit of 10 points in the third quarter, Kent Bazemore’s big efforts helped close the gap and register their first win of the season.
