Utah Jazz first forced a comeback to win Game 1 and then continued their domination in Game2 as well to take the lead 2-0 against Clippers. Both the teams would now travel to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4 where Clippers would hope to even the series and stay alive in the second round of the Playoff. Jazz won by 117-111 on Thursday at Vivint Arena.
Clippers dug deep with zone defense hoping to control Jazz but Joe Ingles then connected with DPOY Rudy Gobert for a three-point play, later Ingles assisted Royce O’Neale as well, and with his own three-pointer in the third quarter Jazz took control. Ingles finished with 19 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and a steal on 7/10 shooting, including 4/7 from the 3-point line. While the Clippers’ offense struggled to execute in the final minutes, Donovan Mitchell scored 27 of his 37 points in the first half itself to give Jazz a good boost at the start. Off the bench, Jordan Clarkson also added 24 big ones.
