Utah Jazz could not contain the Grizzlies point guard but atleast achieved a win in Game 2 of the playoff series to tie it to 1-1. Jazz fought hard for the 141-129 win in the thrilling match where Grizzlies’ Morant dropped 47 points and help Grizzlies come back after being 22 points down. Morant was 15 of 26 from the field and had 7 assists and 4 rebounds as well. Jazz on the other hand rolled out 3 pointers to beat Grizzlies by scoring 19 three-pointers to set a franchise playoff record.
Jazz’s offense got a huge boost when All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell was back in action for Game 2 after missing the first game and scored 25 points for the team with 5-of-10 shooting on three-pointers. Seven players of the Jazz’s squad were in double figures as well.
