Kings would be opening 2022-23 season at home

The Kings will play host to the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Golden 1 Center. The Kings opened last season at Moda Center in Portland, so Damian Lillard and the Blazers are giving back in kind this year by venturing out to Sacramento.

Kings fans will get their most memorable look at No. 4 draft pick Keegan Murray, who took the Las Vegas Summer League by storm and won the MVP award of the competition. Falling off another disheartening season, the Kings are attempting to end their NBA-record of 16-season playoff dry spell. With the moves they've made throughout the course of recent months, they trust this is the season of their comeback. Apart from the addition of Murray Kings obtained Domantas Sabonis, marked free agent Malik Monk and exchanged for sharpshooter Kevin Huerter from the Atlanta Hawks.
