Kyrie Irving drops 50 points to assist Nets as they outlast Hornets

Kyrie Irving’s season-high 50 points help Nets with the 132-121 points as Charlotte Hornets could not contain Irving’s red hot shooting form. Brooklyn managed to snap their four-match losing streak with a much-needed win as well while Irving shot 15/19 from the field, including 9/12 from the deep. The player's unvaccinated status might have kept him out of many matches this season but it did not affect his form as he continued playing in home games for the Nets.

Beating his previous season-high record of 38 points, which he set on February 26 against Milwaukee, by a great margin in his 17th match for the side in the 2021-22 season. Along with the assistance of Andre Drummond and his 20 points and 14 rebounds and Bruce Brown, Kevin Durant and Patty Mills Nets posted their second-highest point total of the season.
