LeBron James’ legacy always takes up plenty of air time in the NBA world

Naturally, the Lakers lost to the top seed in four games that were rather close, despite LeBron posting an ultimately pointless stat line of 40-10-9 in the series' fourth and final game. On their Road Trippin' podcast, Jefferson and Channing Frye discussed how it felt to watch the 38-year-old perform in the Conference Finals. Naturally, Jefferson was a teammate of LeBron James during the Cleveland Cavaliers' championship season in 2015–16, so it is understandable why he would take offence to such remarks. He is undoubtedly not alone, though.

He outperformed the Lakers, which hasn't typically been the case for teams led by LeBron James throughout his successful career. But even at 38 years old, he was still quite talented, and at least in the opinion of Richard Jefferson, the 4-0 defeat did not diminish his reputation.
