The Los Angeles Lakers will almost certainly have a different roster for the upcoming season at this point. Moving ahead, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and maybe Austin Reaves will make up the core, but it seems like anyone else is up for grabs. This summer, LA will probably want to add a major name or two, and according to at least one NBA official, they should consider Denver Nuggets standout Michael Porter Jr.
Porter was a major factor in ensuring that the Lakers would return home following the opening round. The 6-foot-10 small forward averaged 8.4 rebounds, 18.8 points on 55.3 percent shooting, and 4.0 triples a game at an incredible 48.8 percent efficiency. It goes without saying that MPJ destroyed the Lakers in the first round. However, the Nuggets might be seeking to change things up this summer after a disastrous title defense.
