NBA: Jazz beat Wizards 123-98

The Utah Jazz extended their winning streak to seven games with a 123-98 victory over the Washington Wizards led by Donovan Mitchell's 28 points and Rudy Gobert's 20 points and 11 rebounds. As the Jazz concluded a perfect four-game East Coast trip, Hassan Whiteside added 18 points and 14 rebounds off the bench. Utah grabbed control in the third quarter after trailing by a point at halftime.

After a great start to the season, the Wizards lost for the fourth time in five games and for the ninth time in 14 games. Bradley Beal scored 21 points for the Wizards. For Washington, Daniel Gafford contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds. After a first half that featured six ties and 11 lead changes, Washington led 51-50 at halftime. The Wizards were within three points when the Jazz went on a 13-4 run to end the third quarter.
