Nets offense was way more dominating this time as though Game 1 was just a trailer in their books. In Game 1 they opened the third quarter with an 18-4 run and in Game 2 they continued where they left off. Joe Harris helped the team to a double-digit advantage in the first quarter itself soon it was 24 points by halftime and Nets grew that lead to 27 by the end of the third. Nets, in the end, shot 52.3% from the floor and 44.7% from three and all the five starters were in double digits without even hitting the 30-minute mark.
While their offense was strong their defense wasn’t anything less with Durant working hard on both the ends he finished with 26-points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists on 8-12 from the field, and had four blocks as well. Celtics were already without Jaylen Brown and Tatum also suffered an eye injury and left the match in the second half.
